I didn't realize until recently just how big an impact simply sitting can have on our weight. I have always been really active at the gym-- after work. But for the whole day I'd be sitting at my computer. <br />Then I did some research that really got me out of my chair. Turns out, while you're sitting the enzyme that burns fat just shuts down, fat builds up especially around the areas you're using to sit (butt, thighs, hips)-- even if you DO work out after work.<br />So I got a NextDesk, which is a bit different because it is adjustable in height.
